The Mouths of Babies

Little Girls' Letter to Wayne, Rap Mogul

"Letter to Lil Wayne" is a direct statement of justice from Watoto From The Nile. Growing tired and fed up with the constant degredation of Black women inside of Hip Hop music, they voice thier views and opinions on this melodic track.

We came across this video while searching the internet and immediately fell in love with the message. We thought that this positive song can possibly influence Lil' Wayne and the likes of others to stop degrading women in their music. Ladies, we should all take heed of their example and let our voices be heard across the world for positive music.

I can agree with this partially, but first I must say that I don't condone the degradation of women because it's not right in any shape or form, but I think the song is directed to the wrong person, the letter should be addressed to the women that allow it to occur, let's be honest, these video girls know the lyrics to the songs that they are dancing to and promoting, yet along their dancing shoes stay on, if that's what makes them happy then by no means am I to mess tradition up, you feel me? Like if a guy was to approach you and say "ay girl, open wide i know you thirsty" what would be your response? You would flip out right? You are offended because by no means will you allow anyone to talk to you in such a manner, so if the women (not all women) that are advertising these videos arent stepping up and saying hey, cut it out, then that's their loss. When a rapper uses the b word or calls a women whores, you shouldn't get offended for the simple fact you know that doesn't pertain to you. I know you guys did a piece on double standards, so tell me what's the result of these female rappers calling other females b*tches and ho*s? I mean it's all in ones mindset to decide if they want to take offense to what is said in rap music. At the end of the day we must remember that women are a probably the biggest contributors to these rappers careers, you will always here man did you see ol girl that did that split in Lil Wayne video, or man you saw ol girl in them jogging pants in 50 cent video. So I say if those girls are fine with being degraded then good for them, that apparently isn't wrong to them. That's like the person in the family that has a drug problem, you try, you try, but they continue to fail you, you hang invented because their family and you live them but after a while it starts affecting your life and stressing you to the breaking point and you sanitize your hands... Just my thoughts
